DV 2025 Lottery Results Published!

The DV 2025 Lottery results have now been published. As previously announced on the official Diversity Visa Program website, the results were released at noon Eastern Daylight Time (i.e. 4:00 PM GMT) today. As such, those who entered the Lottery last year (2023) can now check their results using the Entrant Status Check page. The DV 2025 Lottery results will be accessible by means of that page up to September 30, 2025.
How to check
To check your result, you will be required to provide a few pieces of personal information including your confirmation number, your last or family name, and your date of birth. The offical Diversity Visa program website has a mechanism in place for retrieving lost confirmation numbers in case yours got lost.

Who’s concerned
The results concern those who entered the Diversity Visa Lottery during the last Entry period which ran from October 4 to November 7, 2023. It must be noted that being selected in the DV Lottery does not guarantee that you will eventually be issued a Diversity Visa. You must succeed in the application process to receive one of the 55,000 visas available for the so-many DV 2025 applicants.
DV 2025 Interviews
Interviews for those who are selected from these results are expected to begin in October 2024, and run until September 2025 when the DV 2025 Program will end.
Reminder
Every year, the United States State Department administers the Diversity Visa Lottery which serves as the ‘entry point’ to the Diversity Visa program. The next opportunity to participate in the Diversity Visa Lottery will be from early October to early November 2024 – for the DV 2026 Program.
