The Visa Bulletin for August 2024 has been published; and it has revealed the SEPTEMBER 2024 cut-off numbers – the final for the DV-2024 Program!
SEPTEMBER 2024 Cut-Off Numbers
These cut-off numbers tell the case numbers that are eligible for interview during the month of SEPTEMBER 2024 – the final month of the DV-2024 Program. As explained below, the case numbers concerned are those that fall below the numbers shown above.
Case Numbers Concerned
With the publication of the SEPTEMBER 2024 cut-off numbers, cases that have not been interviewed and are eligible for interview during the month of SEPTEMBER 2024 are as follows:
AFRICA (CURRENT): Case Numbers up to and including the highest case number (122,907);
Except: ALGERIA: Case Numbers up to 108,499; EGYPT: Case Numbers up to 56,999 and MOROCCO: Case Numbers up to 69,999
ASIA: Case Numbers up to 27,499;
Except: IRAN: Case Numbers up to 21,999 and NEPAL: Case Numbers up to 12,999
EUROPE: Case Numbers up to 49,999;
Except: RUSSIA: Case Numbers up to 49,499 and UZBEKISTAN: Case Numbers up to 16,999;
NORTH AMERICA (CURRENT): Case Numbers up to and including the highest case number (19);
OCEANIA: Case Numbers up to 2,699;
SOUTH AMERICA: Case Numbers up to 4,999.
Important: A case number being eligible for interview for a given month does not mean that the case concerned will be interviewed during the month in question at all cost. It may well be; it may also not be. In addition to the case number being eligible for interview, other factors contribute to determining when the case concerned will actually be interviewed.
Cases Eliminated
Cases whose case numbers are the same or higher than their September cut-off are hereby eliminated from the DV 2024 Program. Such cases will no longer be interviewed; the DV 2024 Program had ended for them; and there’s nothing the applicants concerned can do to change that outcome.
The Visa Bulletin
The Visa Bulletin is published every month. It is by means of that publication that Diversity Visa applicants get to know the month when their case will be eligible for interview.

Publication of the next Visa Bulletin will take place anytime from August 7 – 15, 2024. The cut-offs to be revealed in that Visa Bulletin will concern OCTOBER 2024, the first month of interviews in the DV 2025 Program.

If the bulletin of September 2024 indicates that the batch of interviews is up to 27500 and my case number is 20195 this means that i will be interviewed ?
Not necessarily. You may be interviewed, but you also may not be interviewed.
