Visa Bulletin for March 2023 (April Cut-Offs) Published!
The Visa Bulletin for the month of March 2023 has been published! In it are the regional cut-off numbers that will apply in the Diversity Visa program in APRIL 2023.
As usual, most regions had their cut-off numbers increased. The increases have made new cases current for interview in April 2023. Such cases can expect to receive their interview notification as of now (February 2023). However, a case number becoming current in the Visa Bulletin does not mean that that case will be scheduled for interview immediately – at all cost.
Interview scheduling depends on a number of factors, including whether the DS-260(s) concerned has/have been submitted, whether it has/they have been processed, as well as other factors relating especially to the embassy or consulate where the interview is to be held.
This concerns cases whose case numbers are lower than the cut-off number shown for their region in the Visa Bulletin.
With the publication of the current Visa Bulletin, cases whose case numbers are the same or higher than their regional cut-off are still not current, and can not expect to receive their interview notification yet. Applicants concerned must continue to follow the Visa Bulletin as it is published in upcoming months – to ascertain the status of their case number.
Asia and North America are the two regions that had their cut-offs for March maintained for April. Among the exception countries, Algeria, Nepal and Russia are the ones that had theirs increased.
Below are the regional cut-offs numbers that will apply in APRIL 2023 as shown in the recently-published March 2023 Visa Bulletin:
The Visa Bulletin is published every month, and it is by means of this tool that Diversiy Visa applicants get to know the month that their interview is supposed to be held. Publication of the next Visa Bulletin – for the month of April 2023 – will be done some time next month. The cut-offs shown in that Visa Bulletin will be for MAY 2023 interviews.

IN CASE I AM GIVEN AN INTERVIEW DATE, WILL I BE GIVEN THE DATE AND PLACE FOR THE MEDICAL CHECK ALSO?
FOR UGANDA CASE INTERVIEWS AND MEDICAL ARE DONE IN KENYA, CAN ONE DO BOTH AT THE SAME TIME OR WEEK?
1. No. After receivng your Interview Notification, you must check the US Embassy Nairobi website for the contact info of designated physicians, and schedule your medical exam with one of them.
2. No. Medical exams are generally conducted around two weeks to the interview. That is why you must arrange your medicals immediately after you receive your interview notification.
for the first time i saw that morocco got a cut off number, my Dv number is AF46000. would i stand any chance this year?
Morocco has always had a cut-off number. Didn’t you know?
How far have you gone in your application process? Have you already submitted your DS-260?
To answer your question: Yes, you do stand a chance.
