Visa Bulletin for July 2023 Published!
The Visa Bulletin for JULY 2023 has been published! In it are the cut-off numbers to apply in the Diversity Visa program during the month of AUGUST 2023.
For August, ALL regions and some exception countries had their cut-off numbers maintained. Meaning, the case numbers that were current for the month of July 2023 remain current for August, in most cases. The ‘few’ others that have become current with the release of the July Visa Bulletin can look forward to receiving their interview notification as of now. However, as has been noted many times before, a case number becoming current for a given month does not mean that that case will be scheduled for interview in that month at all cost.
Nowadays, scheduling of interviews depends on other factors, including whether the DS-260(s) concerned has/have been submitted, whether it has/they have been processed, as well as the pace of interviews conducted at the embassy or consulate concerned.
Below are the regional cut-offs numbers that will apply in AUGUST 2023 as shown in the July 2023 Visa Bulletin:
With the publication of the July Visa Bulletin, cases whose case numbers are current in the various regions and exception countries for the month of August 2023 are/remain as follows:

Except: ALGERIA: Case Numbers 1 through 44,999; EGYPT: (same as for July) Case Numbers 1 through 43,199 and MOROCCO: Case Numbers 1 through 63,399
ASIA: (same as for July) Case Numbers 1 through 20,999;
Except: IRAN: Case Numbers 1 through 13,999 and NEPAL: Case Numbers 1 through 20,499
EUROPE: (same as for July) Case Numbers 1 through 31,999;
Except: RUSSIA: (same as for July) Case Numbers 1 through 31,999 and UZBEKISTAN: (same as for July) Case Numbers 1 through 14,999

Cases whose case numbers are the same or higher than their regional cut-off are still not current, and can not expect to receive their interview notification yet. Applicants concerned must check the Visa Bulletin when it is published in July – to ascertain the status of their case number.
The Visa Bulletin is published every month, and it is by means of this tool that Diversiy Visa applicants get to know the month when their case becomes eligible for interview. Publication of the next Visa Bulletin – the last for the DV 2023 Program – will be done some time in July. The cut-offs shown in that Visa Bulletin will be for SEPTEMBER 2023 interviews – the final for the DV 2023 Program.
