The DV 2026 Program Instructions have been published! The instructions contain the details of the DV 2026 Program, including the DV 2026 Lottery dates, the rules for participation in the DV 2026 Program, as well as the list of countries whose natives are eligible.
Lottery Dates
According to the DV-2026 Instructions, the DV 2026 Lottery will run from 4:00 PM (16 hours) GMT on next Wednesday, October 2, 2024; to 5:00 PM (17 hours) GMT on Tuesday November 5, 2024. It is only during that period that the electronic Diversity Visa form will be available of the official Diversity Visa Program website; it’s therefore only during that time that persons desirous of entering the DV 2026 Program will be able to do so.
Eligible Countries
The list of eligible countries is published as part of the DV Program Instructions every year. For this year, all eligible countries from last year remain eligible, with the exception of CUBA which has just ‘lost’ its eligibility.
