Details of DV 2022 Results Released!
Background
In the month of July or August every year, the State Department – in its monthly Visa Bulletin – releases the details of the DV results published a couple of months earlier. This information provides a deeper insight into the DV results and allows some level of ‘forecasting’ as far as the upcoming DV program is concerned. This year’s details have just been released!
The Numbers
For the DV-2022 Program, 119,021 entrants were selected and have been ‘notified’, and are encouraged to apply for one of the 54,850 Diversity Visas which will be on offer during Fiscal Year 2022 (October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022).
This year’s total number of selectees is lower than that of last year, but is still a high one, making a second DV-2022 draw much less likely. 119,021 also indicates that a total of at least 64,171 (total selectees – available visas) will certainly not receive one of the available visas. There had been a total of 7,336,302 qualified entries (13,191,296 with derivatives) submitted during the last entry period which ran from noon, Eastern Daylight Time on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, till noon, Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, November 10, 2020.
Countries with the highest number of selectees for the DV-2022 Program are mostly the same as those of last year: Algeria, Egypt, Russia, Sudan, and Uzbekistan, with each in excess of 6,000.

I need your advice about the DV 2021 curently no answer from KCC that filled in june 2021.
Case number 20 000 between 25000
Check your email and entry status regularly, and monitor your case status for any possible change, in case you’re scheduled for interview.
My brothers case number is AF 24 xxx twent four thousands and hundreds.
So he is waiting response from KCC because of he filled the form june/2021.please would guide him !
Eventhoug he tried request to change first embassy noticed early to nearest USA embassy with in that form of KCC is not get emails from KCC and no call from officers in embassy weather Kenya or Djabuti.

My young brother filled the form of KCC in june 2021 from somalia but not get email notification from KCC and he also requested Djabuti US Embassy instead of Kenya , not get answer from KCC. Now is time to get vissa but needs help and guidence. Where is youth supporters?

I and my family won the DV 2022 with a case # of 60*** and did filled in our DS 260 from and submitted it middle August 2021, up to now I haven’t getting any mail from kcc requesting for documents. Can you pls tell me when kcc will request for my documents?

Hi Roosevelt, I responded to this preoccuaption of yours in the comments of another of my articles. This was my reponse: “60XXX is considered a high case number in the AF Region which I suppose you’re in. It’s therefore going to take quite some time before KCC start to process cases with such high case numbers.” In other words, the request from KCC for your documents to be sent is still quite some time away.
However, you will not be penalized if you sent in the documents without being asked to do so. That is, in case you know the procedure.

Hello Sir, my fiance has been selected holding the case number AF52049, we filled up the ds260 and sent additional files to kcc as requested. from your experience, is there any chance for her to get an interview since the available visa number is 54000 ?
