DV 2023 Halfway Statistics
Halfway into Program
We’ve just passed the halfway mark of the DV 2023 Program. The Program began on October 1, 2022 and will end on September 30, 2023. Halfway into the Program, a total of 24,666 applicants (11,894 cases) have been interviewed. Of those interviewed, 19,055 applicants have been issued visas while 1,458 have been refused. At the start of the second half of the 2023 Program, there are 9,760 cases – totaling 21,083 applicants – scheduled for interview at various embassies and consulate. Said interviews will be conducted during the months of April and May.
The Europe region remains on top of visa issuances with a total of 7,927 so far; followed by the Africa region with 6,582; then Asia with 3,328.

As we move further into the second half of the DV 2023 Program, the reality remains that scheduling of interviews after cases meet the relevant conditions largely depends on how fast the embassy or consulate concerned is interviewing Diversity Visa cases.
