Visa Bulletin for October 2023 Released!

The Visa Bulletin for OCTOBER 2023 has been published! It shows the cut-off numbers to apply during the month of November 2023 in the DV 2024 Program.

For November, two out of the six regions had their cut-off numbers maintained. The others saw a low increase in theirs. “Low” especially when we consider how extensive the DV 2024 selection was. For example, in the Africa region, many case numbers over 100,000 have been reported by applicants.

November Cut-Off Numbers

For November, the various cut-offs numbers that will apply in the DV 2024 Program as revealed in the Visa Bulletin for October are shown below. Those cut-off numbers identify the case numbers that are eligible for interview during the month of November 2023.

But as has been said on many occasions before, a case number being eligible for a given month does not mean that that case will be scheduled for interview in that month at all cost.

Case Numbers Concerned

With the publication of the Visa Bulletin for October 2023, cases whose case numbers are eligible for interview during the month of November 2023 in the various regions and exception countries are/remain as follows:

AFRICA: (same as for October) Case Numbers 1 through 9,999;

Except: ALGERIA: (same as for October) Case Numbers 1 through 7,499; EGYPT: (same as for October) Case Numbers 1 through 5,499 and MOROCCO: (same as for October) Case Numbers 1 through 5,599

ASIA: Case Numbers 1 through 2,299;

Except: IRAN: Case Numbers 1 through 2,199 and NEPAL: Case Numbers 1 through 1,299

EUROPE: Case Numbers 1 through 4,999;

Except: RUSSIA: Case Numbers 1 through 4,749 and UZBEKISTAN: (same as for October) Case Numbers 1 through 1,249;

NORTH AMERICA: (same as for October) Case Number 1 only;

OCEANIA: Case Numbers 1 through 299;

SOUTH AMERICA: Case Numbers 1 through 499.

Conclusion

Cases whose case numbers are the same or higher than their regional or country cut-off are still not current. Such cases can not expect to receive their interview notification yet. Applicants concerned must check the Visa Bulletin when it is published in October – to ascertain the status of their case number.

The Visa Bulletin is published every month, and it is by means of this tool that Diversiy Visa applicants get to know the month when their case becomes eligible for interview. Publication of the next Visa Bulletin – the third for the DV 2024 Program – will be done some time in October. The cut-offs shown in that Visa Bulletin will be for DECEMBER 2023 interviews.
